The new iPhone Push feature is nice, but it can go overactive and drain your battry life at a almost visible rate. Turning this feature off could improve your battery time.
To turn it off go to settings-mail…-fetch data-turn off push. After restart your iPhone by holding down the sleep/wake button and slide the bar when it shows up.
What push does is allowing programs to send notifications to you without the program running. This a neat feature that many probably can’t live without, but if you are one of those that can, I suggest you try turning it off and see if it improves your battery time.
