My first impression of WordPress for iPhone was good. Everything was easy and fast.
Wordpress is easy to setup and easy to manage. There are only two flaws that I can find.
The first one is the ability to add images but not the ability to align them. To solve this you have to edit your post again and manually input the the code in the image URL.
The second is a bug in WordPress 2.0 that crashes the App when you add more categories. The App though rescues your post and let you continue where you where.
New in 2.0 is comments and pages while comments are a good feature it is a bit annoying that it is the default page when entering your blog and you have to click posts to get to the real stuff. In 2.0 you can also edit pages which is neat.
WordPress is really good but it suffer from one really great flaw and that is a bug that removes all your &<> from your post while sending via XML-RPC which the iPhone App does.
This bug is caused by libxml2 and can only be corrected by the server admin. Here is a link to how to solve this problem Click Here I got to thank my webhosting Space2u for fixing this for me. If you live in Sweden and are in need of a webhosting service I can recommend them, really great support.
To activate XML-RPC go to your blog settings-writing and check the option for XML-RPC.
Overall the App does what it’s supposed to do and it’s free in App store, I still prefere the older version though.
